Veterans' Career & Employment Services


This workshop provides practical information for veterans and eligible spouses on translating military training to civilian skills, the use of Social Media / Networking in the job search, résumé building and targeting, and advice on preparing for job interviews.

Working a Job Fair


Ever wonder what to say to an employer at a job fair?  Learn tips and tricks to being successful during a job fair.  Subjects include elevator speech, how to dress and soft skills. Offered as needed prior to Multi-Industry Hiring Events.

Jobs today require employees to use a computer.  Learn basic typing skills using Mavis Beacon.  Available Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Intermediate Computer Lab

Self-directed and self-paced instruction offers Job Center customers the opportunity to improve their computer skills and learn Microsoft 2007 Word & Excel.
