Common Items

The Household Chemical Collection Center, or HCCC, accepts many types of chemicals such as pesticides, household cleaners, lighter fluid, automotive products, and more.

Yardwaste is accepted primarily at the Yardwaste Recycling Center, with some yardwaste items also accepted at the Franklin and Lone Pine recycling centers. Yardwaste includes things like:
  • Garden and flowerbed vegetation
  • Grass clippings
  • Leaves
  • Shrub trimmings
