Missouri Job Center to host hiring event for Bass Pro Shops on Thursday, Oct. 6

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE The Ozark Region Workforce Development Board and the Missouri Job Center will be hosting a hiring event with open interviews for Bass Pro Shops from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2016. The event will be held at the Missouri Job Center, 2900 E Sunshine, Springfield, MO 65804. Bass Pro will be seeking to fill 80 open positions in positions including Seasonal Distribution Center Opportunities, Customer Care Representatives (full-time), and Customer Care Representatives (part-time). Seasonal Distribution Opportunities have an anticipated end date of 12-30-16. Bass Pro states these positions are "full-time 1st and 2nd shifts working in Picking, Receiving, and Stocking." Call Center positions are seeking full-time and part-time candidates who "enjoy talking on the phone and are comfortable working with multiple computer screens." Resume assistance and the Career Closet are available prior to the event at the Missouri Job Center. Job seekers are encouraged to come prepared, appropriately dressed, and with completed resumes. The Ozark Region Workforce Development Board and Missouri Job Center serve the counties of Christian, Dallas, Greene, Polk, Stone, Taney, and Webster. The Region boasts two Missouri Job Center locations (Springfield and Branson), as well as a Mobile Career Center.
