Missouri Job Center to assist Park Board with Seasonal Hiring Event Mar. 22

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 

The Ozark Region Workforce Development Board and the Missouri Job Center will be assisting the Springfield-Greene County Park Board with a Seasonal Hiring Event on Wednesday, March 22, 2-6 p.m., at Mediacom Ice Park, 635 E. Trafficway. The Park Board is looking to fill 430 positions ranging from entry-level cashiers to skilled drivers and maintenance workers. Seasonal employees typically work April-September. Schedules can be flexible with hours ranging from a few hours to 40 hours a week.

Seasonal openings include lifeguards at indoor and outdoor pools; counselors for summer day camps and before- and after-school (SPARC) programs; concessions staff at pools, sports complexes and special events; maintenance workers at golf courses, ball fields, and pools; front desk, fitness and childcare staff at family centers; front desk and Springfield Lasers staff at Cooper Tennis Complex; and cashiers, scorekeepers and umpires at sports complexes.
