Tawana graduated from the College of the Ozarks with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics. She worked with the Stone County Health Department for one and a half years in their WIC and Maternal Child Health Department before she began working at the Springfield-Greene County Health Department WIC Office in July 2006.
