This 300-acre park offers 6 miles of interconnecting singletrack that winds through woods in northwest Springfield. Designed and built by volunteers, this trail has been a very popular place for mountain bikers of various skill levels since it opened in June 1996. The Sac River Trail is also great for hiking, trail running and bird watching.

Parking is available at the trailhead located off Hwy 13, three miles north on I-44. Watch for the brown highway sign marking the west-bound turnoff. It's just around the bend! (see aerial map)
